RESERVATION PROCESS: Please use our
comparison page
to decide on the apartment that meets your needs, and check its
availability using the appropriate calendar link. Then complete our
Online Reservation
Request to send us your requested apartment and dates, providing as
much detail as possible about your party and your dates, so we can be sure
our apartment fully meets your requirements. Tell us the number of nights
you wish to stay in the apartment, and the day that you will be departing
the apartment. We accept credit card payment over the phone, allowing
you to reserve the apartment of your choice without delay.
RENTAL PERIOD: The minimum rental period for all our apartments is one week (7 nights).
CONFIRMATION: Once we have received your request, we will inform
you by email whether the apartment is available and if so the total rental
amount. To book the apartment, you can telephone us at (919)475-0149 or
send us email, to which we will respond with detailed confirmation
of:
- your date of arrival
- your date of departure
- your number of nights in the apartment
- the rental amount
PAYMENT: Payment of the rental deposit secures your reservation,
and is due when you book. The apartment will be held for you up to 72
hours. Please note that your apartment rental is not confirmed until we
receive your deposit(!) The balance of the rental amount is due on or
before 30 days prior to arrival, as is the security deposit (see below).
All amounts may be paid by check or by wire transfer. If the
booking occurs within 30 days of arrival, the entire rental amount (rental
deposit and rental balance) plus security deposit is due immediately.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit of US $500 is payable with the final rental payment on or before 30 days prior to occupancy. It will be refunded within 4 weeks following your departure, assuming there is no loss or damage to the premises, or unauthorized expenses. A $50 cleaning charge will be deducted if the apartment is not in a normal state of cleanliness upon your departure.
AGREEMENT: When we have received your rental deposit amount, we will fax you a signed rental agreement (see rental agreement) as receipt. We ask that you sign and date the agreement and fax it back to us at (919)370-4191.
Please note that no agreement is in effect until we have received a rental deposit and a signed agreement.
CANCELLATIONS: In the event of a cancellation 45 days prior to the arrival date, we will refund 1/2 of the rental deposit. We do not refund monies for cancellations made within 45 days of the arrival date. We strongly advise that you purchase trip cancellation insurance.
NO EXTRA FEES:The rental fee includes all utilities
(electricity, water, garbage collection, heating, and unlimited local
telephone service), building maintenance, cleaning for your arrival and
after your departure, bedding & towels, and all relevant taxes.
APARTMENT INFORMATION: Once we have received your full rental amount, plus security deposit, we will email two documents to you:
- Guest Arrival - gathers detailed arrival and guest information so that we can welcome you to the apartment on arrival, and best arrange sleeping accommodations for your party.
- Apartment Information - provides all the information you will need to make this apartment your home in Paris.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: Assuming there are no guests leaving on the
day of your arrival, check-in time can be between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Likewise, checkout time is subject to the same flexibility, assuming there
are no guests arriving on the day of your departure. On arrival, our
representative will meet you at the apartment, using the detailed flight
information that you provide for us to track your flight progress. If you
are arriving by train or by car, we will set a greeting appointment in
advance.
If you arrive on the same day as other guests are departing, your
check-in will be between 3:00pm and 7:00pm., although we can receive your
luggage into the apartment earlier by special arrangement. If you are
departing as other guests are arriving, your checkout will be no later than
12 noon. All check-ins before 9:00 a.m. or after 7:00 p.m. will require a
$50 fee payable directly to our representative in Paris.
TRANSPORTATION: We can arrange for a limo to pick you up at the
airport, or you can take a taxi directly from the airport to the
apartment. You can also use public transportation (city buses or the RER
railroad) to go to central Paris, and from there take a taxi or the
métro to get to your apartment (we don't advise this latter option
if you have a lot of luggage). It generally takes 1.5 to 2 hours to arrive
at the apartment after landing (assuming the airport is Charles de
Gaulle).
SMOKE-FREE/PET-FREE: We ask that you do not allow pets or smoking of any sort inside the apartment.
CLEANING: Upon request, a midweek cleaning is available at an additional charge of $35. Please tell us at the time of booking so we can schedule it in advance.
CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE: We reserve the right to change our prices, terms and conditions without notice.
